We are seeing some exciting colour trends for Spring/Summer 2011 and Pantone, the colour authority has declared PANTONE® 18-2120 Honeysuckle to be in the 'IT' colour for this season across the fashion industry.
According to Pantone's website :
... A dynamic reddish pink, Honeysuckle is encouraging and uplifting...The intensity of this festive reddish pink allures and engages. In fact, this color, not the sweet fragrance of the flower blossoms for which it was named, is what attracts hummingbirds to nectar. Honeysuckle may also bring a wave of nostalgia for its associated delicious scent reminiscent of the carefree days of spring and summer.”We also feel that the summery intensity of Coral would be the perfect secondary colour for this season's Honeysuckle. Just for our lovely spring/summer brides, we've created two wedding inspirtaion style boards based on the two colours.
Honeysuckle & Midnight
A contrasting play of spring's anointed colour mellowed with the sophistication of Midnight and Dove. It's all about pairing the bright blush of Honeysuckle and bringing up the understated luxury of diamonds, satin fabrics and accents in the darker shade. Think sophistication of the modern bride without muting Spring's playfulness and mirth.
Tamarisk's floral recommendations: Alstroemeria pink blooms, lipstick and sexy dark pink roses with dusky blue hydrangeas, white anemones.

Fresh, joyful and exuberant, we just love the combination of Coral and Appletini! At its core, this heady mix conveys carefree and the scents of apples wafting through a bright and happy garden wedding.
Tamarisk's floral recommendations: Peach peonies, ivy, dahlias, gerberas & spray roses, accented with sage herbs and white freesias.
